Mortgage Express removes mortgage early repayment charges

Mortgage Express is part of the Bradford & Bingley Group which is now in public ownership and no longer providing new mortgages for borrowers.

They recognise that existing Mortgage Express mortgage borrowers may wish to review their mortgage arrangements – either by selling, remortgaging or paying off some or all of their mortgage. To aid borrowers, they are waiving the early repayment charges (ERC) for customers moving, selling or repaying some or all of their mortgage between 1st February and 30th June 2009.

Mortgage Express will be writing formally to borrowers to advise them of this change in due course. Removal of ERC’s dramatically reduces the cost of repaying or moving a mortgage and so could present a number of new options for you to consider.
