ENHANCED WEALTH TOPS LIST
“Helpful, professional and interested without being pushy” were words describing Bexleyheath based Enhanced Wealth Ltd after it came out tops in a mystery shopper survey of financial advisers in Kent by leading national financial publication Financial Adviser, part of Financial Times Business Magazines.
Commenting on its success, Sean Horton, Director of Enhanced Wealth Ltd said, “We pride ourselves on being a specialist independent mortgage centre and to come out tops in this survey is excellent news especially as we had no idea that we had been talking to a mystery shopper.
“From November, mortgages will become regulated by the FSA and clients should be expecting real professionalism from their advisers. Our view is that it is always worth spending extra time to ensure the right solution for our clients, always remembering that buying a property is usually the biggest financial commitment any individual or couple make.
“This approach has also positioned us well with those clients who have had problems securing a mortgage elsewhere due to their ‘not so good’ credit ratings. We have a good track record in finding solutions for them.”
The mystery shopper is a regular feature within the Financial Adviser publication and when they contacted Enhanced Wealth, he was enquiring about fixed or variable-rate mortgages for him and his wife, both of whom work full-time.
Enhanced Wealth, scored an impressive 18 out of 20 having been judged on its
speed of response, telephone manner, guidance given and knowledge. The adviser
was the only one of the independents to mention specific lenders and their rates
demonstrating a solid knowledge of available products.
The adviser had a straight forward, no nonsense attitude, and was patient,
businesslike and helpful. He asked about the shopper’s circumstances and his
advice was thoughtful and based on a willingness to predict the future direction
of interest rates.
Enhanced Wealth was established in December 2000,
currently has 4 advisers supported by a team of back office staff and in
addition to mortgages, specialises in a range of related protection policies, ie
life assurance, mortgage protection, critical illness, and
accident sickness
unemployment insurance.
