An Independent Financial Adviser is the only financial adviser who can provide advice that is specific and personal to your circumstances from products and services available from the whole market. An IFA will work for you and just for you.
Finding a good Independent Financial Adviser is sometimes harder than it really should be. Not everyone needs one and not everyone uses an Independant Adviser for their financial advice needs. Generally, a recommendation from a friend or associate will provide a good start. If they have been happy with their advisor then hopefully so will you. But what if your friend did not consult with an IFA? After a few questions you realise that as good as their adviser might appear to be, they are not truly independent?
